I've been out of the air for over 15 years. Lots of reasons - the main one being I moved back to UK where flying is VERY expensive.
Now I'm back in Australia, I'm going to get my licence re-validated. It will literally be like starting over again - the only difference, is that I'm not on a Student licence anymore. I've got 140 hours under my belt and was endorsed to fly VFR.
I took an initial flight some months back and I remembered all the basic moves & skills. Although the radio procedures will need to re-learnt.
I was wondering if anyone else out there had taken a very long break from flying and how you coped with re-learning how to fly again.
